We are looking for a highly motivated and forward-thinking finance professional with robust technical skills to provide high quality support to the Finance team to ensure future growth, stability and success.

The Finance Business Partner role is a pivotal role within the Finance department, ensuring that financial statements are robust whilst working with the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to develop and improve the financial processes and understanding across the group.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordinating the monthly management accounts process to ensure delivery of timely and accurate management information;
  • Leading the planning processes and supporting the annual budgetary cycle and quarterly forecasting process of your business areas;
    • Providing clear communication and in-depth support by building and maintaining excellent relationships with the business and ensuring budget holders are supported on all financial issues. quality and timeliness of financial information, both to budget holders and senior management;
    • Continuously striving to streamline and simplify procedures to enhance decision making.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) from a Charity, Commercial or wider Public Sector background. Applications from part qualified accountants will be considered if they are studying towards an Accountancy qualification and have five plus years of relevant sector experience. You will be analytically-minded with excellent organisational and project management skills. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, flexible in approach but firm when necessary, who can work on their own initiative and thrives when thinking and acting proactively. You be able to communicate complex financial information to stakeholders and possess the ability to influence and build rapport with a range of finance and non-finance persons across the organisation.
